Chlorella Seaweed Salad

Boost your meal with a detoxifying chlorella that’s great for digestion, clear and smooth skin and a strong immune system!

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup dried hijiki seaweed
  • 4 cups water for soaking
  • 1 teaspoon Organic Burst chlorella
  • ½ - 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ⅓ cup shelled edamame, cooked 
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
For the Seasonings:
  • 4 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoon rice malt syrup
  • 4 tablespoons amino acids

Method:

  1. Soak dried hijiki seaweed in 4 cups of water for 30 minutes.
  2. Strain and rinse the seaweed. Set aside.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a medium pot over medium heat. Add carrot and stir.
  4. Add the rinsed seaweed and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in all the seasonings. 
  6. Cover and cook over medium-low heat.
  7. After 30 minutes, add in the edamame.
  8. Cook to reduce the sauce. 
  9. Remove from heat and stir in Organic Burst chlorella powder.
  10. Enjoy warm or chilled with a bowl of rice.
