Matcha Buckwheat Parfait

Say hello to parfait perfection with this delicious and rich dessert or snack that is bursting with energising goodness, whilst also helping you find your focus & burn fat (winning!)

The buckwheat is deliciously creamy & filling but it’s totally gluten free so you won’t feel bloated after!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup raw buckwheat, soaked in water overnight
  • ½ teaspoon Organic Burst Matcha
  • 2 tablespoons Organic Burst Chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 ripe large banana (half mashed, half chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional

Method:

  1. Soak buckwheat groats in a bowl of water. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the the rest of the ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning, drain and rinse the buckwheat with cold water until no more slime runs out of the buckwheat. Add buckwheat into the chia mixture and stir well. Top with strawberry banana ice cream and chopped fruits.
