Spirulina Protein Bars

Don’t mind the green - these bars are SO delicious & you’ll love how they make you feel! 


They’ll keep you alert & energized with complete protein + iron + B Vitamins from Organic Burst Spirulina + amazing nutrients in quinoa.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/3 cup quinoa flakes
  • 
1 cup rice malt syrup
  • 
½ cup cacao butter [or coconut oil]

  • 3 tablespoons Organic Burst Chia seeds
  • 
2 teaspoons Organic Burst Spirulina powder
  • 
2 tablespoons goji berries

  • 2 tablespons pumpkin seeds
  • A 
pinch of salt


METHOD

  1. Set aside the goji berries and cacao butter. Add all other ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until a smooth hard dough is formed, move into a large mixing bowl.

  2. Melt the cacao butter (or coconut oil) and add to the mixing bowl along with the goji berries and pumpkin seeds and stir well
.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into a lined baking dish and pop in the fridge for 20 minutes to set.

  4. Cut into bars and serve
.
